I was literally grinning like an idiot during most of this episode. It was so good. I was kinda tearing up from happiness.

I mean - Purin finally joined the club, and she was even genuinely smiling. Her smile was actually really precious, and I was so happy to see it.

Anyways, I'm glad that the girls have finally started building the secret hideout (though I felt sorry for the tree, when they were drilling the holes for the TABs, but I digress).
I'm also never getting tired of Shii calling everyone -cchi. Her meowing is also really nice.
I can't believe that the next episode is gonna be the last one (if I'm not mistaken, which I'd like to be) - I don't want this anime to ever end.

yeah, next week is last episode. And i really hope for a 2nd season. There are so many sh*tty animes getting a sequel so there is hope. Let's all never loose hope, no matter how slim the chances are. And if all fails we need to make our own DIY S2 anime. That would be a DIY anime about DIY XDD

NGL that hit hard because same, slice of life animes like this is pretty much a fantasy to us young adults that we yearn and will always yearn so much because in reality there exists overthinking, sly betrayals, layers of lies and justice doesn't exist which leads to trust issues, social anxiety and survival...

if only reality is like a slice of life anime where everyone's honest, justice exists, no misunderstandings and everything is positive none of us are probably depressed by now nor have too much anxiety

Jealousy ? Hmm. What most people experience as real-life is largely shaped/influenced by Materialism which does lead to much unhappiness (contrary to its pro-consumerism beliefs/promotions). Over-Throwing Materialism might actually make real-life more fantasy-like... just an idea that I would love to see happen world-wide.

lucky this is fantasy, if it was official few girls would likely loose some limbs. they are taking woodcraft too lightly. No safety equipment and long hair - is a perfect recipe for a dumb ways to die.

They certainly managed to be resourceful enough not to have to find/use a tarp to cover their unfinished work from the elements until getting enough materials ! (I am surprised I have not seen any tarps or at least do not remember seeing any in this animé thus far; glad I got mine secured around my electric mountain-bike out-side since this city has been covered in snow for the last two days in a row)

They used tarps to cover the wood in the previous episodes so it doesn't get wet.

That bird came back to life after 30 years. I feel sorry for that shed. The first generation built it and now they're breaking it. I can't believe it will be over next week. One of my favorite shows ever

Ngl, I have actually trust issue regarding those tree house especially that kind of height.
I feel like it will start to crumble so I avoid them at all cost. I didn't really research to them too much but thanks to the explanation of that beam I understand how strong the foundation actually is.

This brought back my sweet youthful days.
My friend's house operated a wood mill related business.
We have a lot of fun using leftover wood making such as wooden sword, wooden gun, etc.
Our masterpiece is a secret base across a small river on the backyard.
Thinking about it now, it's just a small and shabby wooden shed with rusty galvanized sheet cover the roof.
But we were proud of it back then.

Purin is very smart, and she is really good planning and management. She is being a great addition to the DIY team.

This episode made me think about builders, Engineers, and Architechs. They are both smart and creative and I appreciate them.

It is SO heartwarming to see Purin not only officially join the club and have so much fun with her friends, but to openly express that with them!

They said they needed lots of money for the TABs.
